KCHEC stands for Kingston Christian Home Educators Chapter. We are a chapter of OCHEC (Ontario Christian Home Educators Connection). We are a volunteer, non-profit, Christian organization that exists to serve the needs of homeschooling families in Kingston, Ontario.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our purpose is to bring Christian homeschooling families together in order to encourage and build one another up as we endeavour to educate our children from the Biblical perspective that Jesus Christ is Lord.
PURPOSE:
- To promote activities that are consistent with scripture and our Statement of Faith.
- To support and encourage parents desiring to educate their children at home.
We offer support to homeschooling families by providing a place to meet, talk about homeschooling, and find out what other families are doing.
We organize activities to support the families we serve including monthly meetings, a co-op, various group field trips, lessons and special events.
